1 1/3 c. sugar
1 c. nondairy creamer, powdered
1 c. instant coffee granules
½ c. crushed peppermint candy
½ c. baking cocoa
Candy Cane Stirrers
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
50 candy canes, mini peppermint
To star this recipe, bring out a bowl and mix together all of the ingredients except the crushed peppermint candy. Place this into a container and then top with the crushed up candy. Give with the stirrers and the rest of the instructions. When you are ready, you can make the candy cane stirrers. To do this you can place the chocolate chips into a bowl that is safe for the microwave and heat up for about 1 ½ minutes. Stir the
chocolate around until it is smooth and then if it is needed you can microwave for another 20 seconds. Add in the rest of the chocolate at this time and stir again until smooth. Set this bowl into a pan that is filled with hot water to keep the hot chocolate sauce, making sure that the water and the chocolate does not mix. Take the whole pieces of candy cane and then dip them straight into the chocolate sauce in order to coat and then place on to the wax paper in order to cool them down. This is going to make about 50 candy cane stirrers. When you are ready to serve, take the powdered mixture that you created and mix ½ cups of boiling water with 2 tablespoons of the mix. Mix these
together to create one serving and enjoy!
